personification 2

A personification is when you take something your not or something that isnt alve and give it life cararistics. In the song I am the Walrus by The Beatles they are saying that he is a walrus in the song which he is avieslly not a walrus. they are useing a personification saying they are something they are not. It is sorta noticable when they say they are a walrus to get people thinking about that. So when somebody hears about a walrus they may think of their song. to hear the song and see the video go yo this awsome website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yNcE8c3j2M.

personification 1

a personification is when you take somthing that is not alive and give it lfe cararistics. Like in the song rock you like a hurricane by the Scorpions. The personification is rock you like a hurricane, which we all know that a hurricane cant rock so it is a personification. It is very clever that they used that because it is very cachy. I think they used it to get peoples attention so if you hear about a hurricane you may think of that song. hyperbole 2

I chose this song for my second song choise “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd the hyperbole in this song is “We’re just two lost sould swimming in a fish bowl”. I think they used this cool hyperbole to get peoples attention when hearing this song mayby making people likeing this song. I think the meaning or what they are trying to say is that they are swimming alone, their lost in the sea, theirs no end, or their is no hope. I think that it would get people thinking what they were really trying to say you can find the link here: http://weheartit.com/entry/7923632.

heperbole 1

The song i chose for my report is “Candle In the Wind” by Elton John the heperbole in the song is “It seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind”. I think they chose this because you could never of lived your life like a candle in the wind, and it would get peoples attention. The meaning of this is probilly that you did nothing in your life important or you just flew by doing nothing. The song and video can be found here for you to hear it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Efz3s7QiM8.

idiom 2

A idiom is wear you see a sentense and think that can’t be what they are really saying, but it isn’t its a over exageration. In the song i chose which is By Myself by Linkin Park they use the idiom “Do I sit here and try to stand it? Or do I try to catch them red-handed?” which what it really means is(to catch somebody red-handed).
What i think their saying is to cach someone who they are looking for with proof.  I don’t really know what the lesson is in this song but if their is one it might be to never give up on caching a chriminal. to find the hear video and band go to this link:http://mp3searchy.com/download/linki_park_in_the_end.html.

idiom 1

a idiom is wear the meaning isint prodictible as it says. I picked the song Upstairs, Downtown by Toby Keith which the idiom in this one is “She’s eighteen and it’s time she got out of the wood” which really means in this idiom is (to be out of the wood). I think they used this ideom was to tell people to get out of your problems or streses in your life. It was a good idea for this ideom to get peoples attention about the song. If you want to find a good link to the song and their music video go to this awsome link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpR0zZ7_EPE.

onamotapea 2

a onamotapiea is wear you use crazy words like zoom, pow, crank, zing, or vuuu. In my choise for one i chose it was boom boom pow in this song it repeats it several times with many other onamatapeas. The onamotapea i chose was the the title”boom boom pow” made by the awsome BlackEyedPeas! I think they used this because they wanted it to be cachy to remember like i would defenetly remember boom boom pow, so when i hear it i think of the song. You can find and hear the song at this website:

YouTube – The Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow

onomatopeia 1

an onamotapea to me is making weird, obnoxious, or crazy sounds like mooooo or ding dong. in the song”Trolley Song” famously sung by Judy Garland which starts making ringing noises Clang ,clang, clang went the trolley
Ding, ding, ding went the bell. They probilly made this song for little kids to get their attention or to let them have fun with it, but for whatever reason they are making it to kids enjoyments around the country. So that song isint for our age but i liked the onamotapias in it. You can hear or read the link at these two websites:  Ansers.com

or here:http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_songs_have_onomatopoeia

Aliteration 2

An aliteration is written as a sound of a word used more than once in a sentence. In the song Ode to a Superhero by Weird Al Yankovic, the alliteration can be found in the song. The alliteration for the song is poor Peter Parker was pitiful, in the song he repeats “p” it gives a funny appearents with it. Its like trying to say it fast 3 times in a row its hard but very cachy. So I think when they thought of this they were thinking of the movie spiderman so when people talked about that they would think of their song. To hear this song folow this well known link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9qYF9DZPdw.

metaphore 1

A metiphore is wear you are not useing like or as but you are still comparing two different things in one sentence. Like in the song Im a rocket man the metaphore in this one is the title strange how that works out. So the metaphore is Im a rocket man the difrences are rocket and man? They probilly used it because they wanted to let people know about their rocket man song while hearing about rockets. You can find the link to the song at eather of the websites:
